I’ve had my hair cut by Marlie twice now—first a regular cut, then a much more drastic one after donating 30cm—and she was brilliant both times. I felt genuinely listened to and understood. She’s efficient, very gentle, and did a great job while keeping the conversation easy and relaxed. The salon itself is lovely too. It’s in a great spot, the interior is cosy and well decorated, and the staff are warm and welcoming. I highly recommend the salon, and especially Marlie!

I saw Marlie at Blushes after a rogue appointment at a different salon and I couldn’t be happier! She understood exactly what I was after and did amazing corrective work. After a bad experience elsewhere I felt so comfortable and well looked after, and the results have made me feel like me again. Gorgeous salon that feels like a true pampering experience. Really recommend!

I booked an appointment with Tasha at Blushes Oxford and she did an incredible job! I had my hair restyled with new bangs put in and I LOVE my hair. I get so many compliments. Tasha listened and understood the brief exactly. Tasha also shared some amazing advice for how to maintain my bangs and how best to style my hair. Would definitely recommend Tasha, and Blushes, for a haircut and hairstyling in Oxford.

I had a "Quiet Cut and Dry" with Marlie. It was my first time visiting the salon, and I chose her mostly on a whim based on some feedback I read here. I'm really glad I did. She was honestly super friendly, authentic and personable, and made every effort to make me feel welcome. She seemed to intuitively grasp what I wanted from my hair despite my poor wording, and delivered on pretty much everything I asked for. When I first saw the final result, I was honestly shocked at seeing myself look so different, and wasn't quite sure how to react. I feel bad that I probably let that show, since I'm not very good at hiding my emotions... However, the next day, after I washed and dried my hair myself, I was able to really take it all in, and realized that I was genuinely just so happy with the job overall. I feel that my new haircut expresses "me" so much better, and the confidence boost from this has already made a tangible impact on my daily life. Well anyway, this was super long-winded, but I just wanted to thank Marlie and the salon for such a great experience. I absolutely recommend them, and I'll definitely be coming back again! -Michael
